Default CSF Radiator Review

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to check in and let everyone know what we are seeing with this radiator from a review standpoint; now that the hot summer days are here, and we have been running it for a while.

The performance of the radiator on our car has been great. The car still warms up just as quick (we are still using the stock thermostat) and operates around the same 200-205degree range. Even when tracking the car on 100+ degree track day the coolant is staying in check 200-205*F. The AC is also still working great, I would say just as well as the factory unit.

We have been running the car street driving and a few mountain runs now. The car doesn’t see many easy miles. We recently had the car on track for the ZCon Track day in Savannah. The day of the event ambient temps we over 100*F and the track temps were over 120*F.
Russell took the car down and was driving for all of the track sessions. To say the least he is not easy on the car. At full tilt with Russell not showing much restraint through traffic coolant temps still remained fine even when being blasted with hot exhaust from other cars as Russell would tailgate to get point by's. Everything was going great until we lost the master cylinder

When staying out of traffic for short periods of time even our oil temps seemed to be a little better than expected; averaging around 250*F. This seems a little high, and course we would like to see them lower but when Russell keeps hot exhaust blowing on the cooler it doesn't really help things.

For reference, generally when we go to the mountains with our car on a 80-90* day, giving the car hell we see oil temps in the 220 range. This is in clean air and not up someone's tail pipe. Before the radiator we were easily still seeing oil temps of 230*, so it has been a surprisingly nice improvement.
All in all we are very happy with the performance of this product and we are really glad we have it.

I know I have been asked about the performance of this radiator a number of times, and I was hesitant to give a review until we really tested it in the summer heat. I am happy to say we are firm believers in this product and glad to have it!

Now all we need to develop is a "Russell spec tailgater resistant oil cooler package" that can keep the oil temps down even when running in traffic at the race track .
