Anything less than a national championship for the gators this year is a huge disappointment. Besides the ole miss game last year, every regular season win was by 21+ points! Not to mention beating bama then oklahoma, both ranked #1 at the time, by double digits each to close the season.

Our depth on defense, particularly the secondary is INSANE. Lots of 2nd and 3rd string guys that would be starters elsewhere. Only real question mark is WR. Lots of talent there but no one has proved anything yet.

Losing Harvin is huge though. Reggie Bush is the only other player I can think of in recent memory where I couldnt wait to see what he would do every time he touched the ball. The dude was just insanely athletic/strong/quick and players like that dont come along very often. But with that said, Ive seen Rainey put some nasty moves on defenders and him along with Demps and Moody should be a very solid backfield.

I cant wait to see what Andre Debose can do. A lot of hype for him coming into the season. Ive seen his highlight reels and he definitely has some Harvin qualities about him.

As far as the rest of the college football landscape... the other favorite to make it to pasedena appears to be the winner of texas/okla. Both will no doubt be solid teams but I think an SEC champion would beat either. USC lost a ton from last year but they have plenty of talent to fill the void. I would be surprised if they didnt win 10 games. Big 10, lol they got nothing. ACC/big east, see big 10 comments. I think LSU will be really solid this year. They have had some great recruiting classes and finished strong last year. I think ole miss will be grossly overrated. They blew up in popularity after beating florida last year but when you are in the same division as lsu and bama its no cakewalk.

Wow I guess thats enough for now. Only 40 something days until kickoff!
