When we would red X an aircraft, it meant it had a fault or overdue inspection that made it considered unsafe to fly. Such as, the rotors aren't attached....red x. the pnvs or hpsm1 or hpsm2 are throwing faults. red x.
sorry. jus got caught up and read the comment about a red x giving someone a headache. try a Fire control radar system that instantly powers off. and 40 days and 40 nights with a multimeter gets me about as far moses wandering the desert....or something. lent. fish fry.....hungry.
