What you need to decide is whether you want FWD driveability or the sportiness of RWD. The FWD will help greatly in the winter but I don't think the 370Z has been around long enough for people to tell you how it performs in Great Lakes winter conditions.
Really depends on what your price range is, too. Both are nice cars, so in honesty you can't go wrong with either granted that you get the 3.5L Altima Coupe.
