I had side pipes on one of my Mustangs and ripped the right side pipe off when it caught on a speed bump...

The lowest point is the front of the rear two cans. They are about 5 inches off of the ground. Keep in mind, where they are located is in relation to the rear tires and as the car goes over a speed bump, by the time it is on the down swing the front of the mufflers are over the bump. No doubt you will have to be careful and mindful of your exhaust. But you should be like that anyway.
