Great pics Jon! I'm glad I was able to share a beer with you and to meet your son! Tell him congrats on well earned grades again and good luck with the car search. Its good to hear that you two made it back home safely.

As for the NISMO winning the Street Mod Class of the 370Z section... we can address this further in another post (which I intend to). I feel that more transparency is needed in the judging and evaluating of vehicles among all classes at ZCON events. I feel that alot of the 370Z owners who attended this year left feeling a little hurt and confused about the judging. This will only DISCOURAGE future 370Z attendees for the 2012 and succeeding venues if this trend continues. All rules and exact judging criteria must be exposed as there was ALOT of confusion and mis-information running about that hurt some owners "points".

I think it should be known that the winner of the Street Mod Class of the 370Z section (the NISMO) is also the current ZCCA President, past ZCCA Car Show Judge and a long time Z Car Owner. With this said, he is fully aware of all rules and guidelines used by the ZCCA/ZCON Car Show Staff, which may include information that may or MAY NOT be known by all attendees or even shared outside of the ZCCA (this I believe is not fair in the spirit of competition). At the same time he does have a long time relationship with the operating staff of ZCON/ZCCA and the various Z Car Clubs across the country, which I feel also clouds some judgement. In his defense however, he has been an avid and extremely active Z Car owner and ZCON attendee for a very long time. He has done numerous car shows and events more than once and knows what he is doing when it comes to preparing his cars.

Aside from this...it was very good to see everyone this year! Overall I feel it was a great event and a successful one at that (minus the heat, humidity and gnats). I wish I could have met more of the 370Z guys (or gals) as I know I saw alot more cars in the parking lots than owners. Hopefully we can arrange a 370Z dinner or get together at next year's ZCON in Phoenix or even at the 2011 Z Nationals.
