Ah, gotcha. Good call with the skirts- I almost went with the side addon blades but ended up going the other way.

With the tape, I tried it a couple of ways. I've actually had two front lips- both of them a Sunline replica. The first was the Aerosync. I put the tape on after fitting the lip. Kinda pulled at the lip a bit and shoved the tape in there, then screwed it in. It worked so well that the lip flew off at about 90 miles an hour on the interstate and shattered into a bunch of really pretty red fiberglass pieces that looked great flying in the air behind the car.

So, I then bought the Shine replica. Perfect fit. I put the tape on the bumper beforehand and fit the lip using the sawhorse method above. I was able to kinda fit the lip on so that when I was ready I was able to push it down on the tape and have it stick. It's tricky to get the lip on without brushing the tape but it can be done.

I also suggest using a drill to drill out a pilot hole rather than just straight up using self-tapping screws- i find it's a lot easier on the fiberglass.
