Selling my Canon 1DS Mark II Digital SLR. This thing has been like an old friend to me, traveling around the world with me and shooting photos at every chance. I'd like very much to keep it, but after chatting with a couple photographer friends I realized it's time for me to upgrade to either a 5DM2 or 1DSM3. The camera is in great condition mechanically, with absolutely no issues with either the shutter or software. The aesthetics are great as well, apart from three scratches on the body and some of the black on the hotshoe rubbing off. However, not to sound cheesy or sound like I'm covering up for the scratches, I do believe these give the camera some character.
Camera is currently rated at 287K shutter actuations and on its second shutter after being sent to Samy's Camera in Pasadena for cleaning and servicing. I know the shutter count sounds high, but remember: 1D/1DS shutters are rated for 120K actuations and up. People have been easily going on 170-190K per shutter and having their cameras continue to work flawlessly as see here at this website:

Camera will come with the Camera, Canon hand strap, Canon battery charger and two batteries, an 8GB CF card, and Tamrac neoprene neck strap. I'll also throw in my Giotto's rocket hand blower.
I'm looking to get $1300 SHIPPED for the camera, but shoot me a REASONABLE offer. I work in Downtown LA everyday. I can meet pretty much anywhere in the SoCal area, but will ship as well.
Thanks!
