BTW do you know how Zapco defines the center frequency of the Shelf filter?
I am hardly a technical guy but i will try hehe, if you need to know more about the dsp6, prolly best to contact zapco direct I am more or less just famaliar with how to use it to tune

each channel has the option of high pass, low pass and bandpass, with the bandpass filter, you define the LP and the HP frequencies and cascading the two produces the bandpass. if you are talking about cascading several LP and HP together on a single channel, then no, it cant do that though there is hardly any benefit in the car audio world for that ability and i dont think any single processor out there can do it

on the second question, you know thats a good point, i should check it out...i assumed that the "center" when on shelving option is the point where the shelving effect takes place...but i could be wrong...so i will confirm it
