Longevity is greatly related to how the car is driven. For example, an engine boosted and tuned to 1000 WHp will last a long time if it is never driven at max power. Any car (including stock ones) that are beaten will not last as long. We're already hearing of problems with a stock GTR on launch control if it is driven hard.

Even with my low boost controller setting of 5-6 psi on my VQ35HR, hooking it up is very difficult, even with 285 tires. Maybe this is a blessing to help the drive train survive? Even though I'm tuned to 9-10 psi, I hardly ever go there.
