You obviously have never met a person that knows how to properly use a spray can. It's all about prep and the amount of time you're willing to put into the job.

I know we are talking about wheels here, but I've been toying the idea of repainting a guitar with a rattle can. Here's a few examples of how good you can get a spray painted finish (with proper prep and wetsanding)




Just saying, don't knock spray paint. Knock the kids that can't properly use it.
