may keep it around as a halo car. Like Mazda keeps producing RX-8's in small numbers to keep a rotary in the lineup, Nissan may choose to keep the Z in the lineup just to say "we still make a Z car". There have been periods where GM has taken massive losses in producing the Corvette, but they kept it around because they felt the
PR hit was too great if they stopped production, even for a few years.
