The 240? I put more money into restoration stuff than mods over the years, it seems. Here is a partial mod list:
- All bushings are Suspension Techniques urethane
- Front and rear MSA sway bars
- Front and rear MSA strut braces
- Aluminum radiator and electric fans
- Tokico Illumina springs and dampers
- Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel
- E-31 head with oversized (P-90) valves
- Mildly built cam
- Fidanza flywheel
- Centerforce II clutch
- 6-2-1 header and Dynaflow exhaust
- Short steering knuckles with bump steer spacers
I have a Borg Warner T-5 that is going in this summer as soon as I find a reasonable condition R-200 diff with the right gears (3.83 or 3.90). I am also going to replace the front and rear control arms with custom built ones from Techno Toy tuning. Last, I am strongly considering stroking one of the spare F54 blocks (from a 280zx) in August because I always wanted 230 + hp in this Z.
