/\ agree 100%. This might sound extreme, but I think the right to vote needs to be an earned right thru service to one's country in some form or another. Could be military, state dept, even mabye a job at the state level, basically, you should have to upon graduation spend 2-4 years at some type of work that is for the benefit of the US. Upon completion of the work, you then can have the right to vote.
I know that's exteme, but I really think we need to reindoctrinate the citizens of this country so they can be better Americans. (btw, I'm half Colombian and my mom's a naturalized citizen but I HATE when people say I'm xyz-american or whatever, shut the fucv up, you're either an American or your not, be proud of your heritage but remember what country your loyalty belongs to).
