Oh come on. That sounds like an argument my son would try on me. If it were all about the reflexes and peripheral vision,
every teenage driver would be paying less than 50 year-olds for car insurance.
And yes, I'm sure he's a
very careful driver when his mother is in the car.
That is said by way of observation, not prediction. I don't know your son. Maybe he'll be the one teenager that bucks the odds. The 370Z is indeed a very quick car, and it most definitely encourages "spirited" driving.
ETA: Get the warranty. You can afford it, and it will buy you some piece of mind.
