I heard someone talking about putting a wavetrac differential on a Z racecar. I hadn't heard of this before and it's hard to find info about it online. Surprisingly searching these forums for "wavetrac" didn't come up with any results. Does anyone know what the story is with this piece of equipment?
The 370Z is listed as an application on their website, but you can't order it directly in the U.S. You have to go through Nissan Motorsports apparently.

Does this mean the Nismo LSD (like
this one for example) is just a rebranded Wavetrac? Or is this something different from the Nismo?
Any ideas how the Wavetrac compares to a clutch-type like the Carbonetics?
