It is very quiet and safe for the engine. It cuts power by cutting throttle input the same as you would by lifting your right foot. ABS is also very smooth most of the time, you don't get the nasty pedal vibration that older cars typically had. As it is a true 4-channel system it can pulse any corner of the vehicle in varying quantities to help keep you on the straight and narrow.
