1. Same as any other door handle, if you can open it with a drink then you can, if you can't then you can't.
2. I've actually hit myself once with the sharp edge when I wasn't paying attention, it hurts, but it's never happened again. The door is long, so it's hard to open and get out if you're in a tight spot, but that's true of most coupes.
3. Unless you're extremely muscular, it's not too hard to reach around behind you. It's kinda like scratching your back. If you need to get something that you want to see, it's best to put the items behind the passenger's seat.
4. You'll get used to it, and you can see what you normally see by tilting your head slightly.
