Wow, I was just kidding about the price thing
These cars seem to be sitting on dealer lots for months... people are saying in the buying forum that the going price is $1000 under *invoice* for a 2011. I have a verbal agreement from my dealer to sell the 2010 I am looking at for $3200 under invoice.
We shall see how it goes - don't believe the dealer hype that these cars are hard to come by - no way. Nissan is doing $2,000 rebate to the dealer through July 6th and 0% APR for up to 5 years on financing. They don't do that unless they are hurting to move the cars. It's nothing against the car, I think it appears to be the sporty car deal of the decade, but reality is they are selling way below invoice.
