MAF placement is so easy to get around.
Running the MAF's before the turbo is more ideal.
Either way cylinders have nothing to do with running a single turbo.

But that is a flat 4 cylinder with 1 intake inlet. If the car has 2 cylinder banks, 2 intake inlets and 2 MAFs it would be better off with 2 turbos.
Symmetry in my point of view equals reliability and I like the way symmetry looks too. But if it works now it's all that matters.
