I learned a few lessons after our first two cruises.

Next cruise, which may have to be near the end of July, I want to try and have the following...

(1) Radios. These make a world of difference. Much better than fiddling with a phone if you get lost.
(2) A print-out of the route for everybody. I'll handle this personally. This way, even if you're stuck without a radio, if you have GPS or a phone with a mapping app, you can pull over and find your way back to the original path.
(3) A better set of stopping points, so that we can all get together when we separate, and so that some high school hoodlum doesn't throw rocks at our cars. Again, I can look into this.

I will most likely also not be going as fast this time around. The goal is not to attract police attention or worry the locals.

I may even consider starting us earlier or later in the day to try and avoid peak traffic times. Might even make it a Friday evening cruise.

But I'll put up a thread about it in a few days, and we can discuss it there. You can always PM me with ideas in the meantime.
