I want to chime in and say thanks for starting this thread and for all of the replies thus far! It has been very helpful to me! I landed on this thread because I'm looking to get new tires too. I'm on the stock RE050A and needing to change out my rear at almost 25K miles. My Z is a daily driver (for now) and I do a blend of both city and highway living in Orlando.

I wanted to leave a thought on my similar scenario. Considering I'll be changing the rear tires 2 to 1 of the front tires, I'm going into the second half of life with my front tires. I'm going to bump the rear up from 275 to 285 though my front will remain as the original, stock 245. I think this should be fine since this is what the NISMO Z is running. I will probably get another set of RE050A since, logically, you would think it should wear out near or at the same time as the front so then I can swap all 4 at once. Ideally, I don't want to run a brand of rear tires different from the front for maximum performance and safety concerns per tire design.

Just to give a little background on my intentions, I plan on sticking with the stock rims and do not plan on getting any spacers since I will eventually get new set of wheels. I might be getting a set of coilovers in the near future though.
