To be fair, the 370z base brakes are actually decent for normal, daily use, but they're absolute rubbish for performance braking. They weren't
terrible on the Dragon or the Skyway, but they were inferior to the Z's with akebonos, and I experienced considerable and very scary fade after the long drive down.
