Yes 316 is good. Every single hp claimed to a car is at the flywheel. Like a zr1, says it makes 6xxhp but if you put it on a dyno it will make 530whp or so.When you dyno just the engine you get the brake horse power (bhp)/ power at the flywheel. Like this

Then when you put it in the car it will lose horsepower if you dyno it because some power is lost when taking it to the wheels. generally a 10-15% for rwd and 25% for awd because it has to take the power to 4 wheels instead of 2.

Edit: why would you spend 3.4k on exhaust? which kind? should've turbo'd it with that money.
