Well, my driver's side window has wore through the cloth top at the exact spot shown in the TSB. Passenger side is ok, for now. So, I took a trip over to the dealer. Neither one of us wants to replace the top as the replacement top may never fit quite the same as the original so the service manager suggested I drop by Apple Auto Glass (they also do upholstery) and see if the damage can be repaired. Apple said in order to repair the damage the cloth top would need to be removed. He also said, and I have no reason to doubt him, that he is the only one in town that has the expertise to replace the top. On his further inspection of the top he noticed something else that may be of interest to all roadster members. When we opened the top he stopped midway through and noticed that the 'lip' of the top at the bottom centre at the rear of the frame directly below the rear window was no longer tucked under the frame. Hope that made sense. So, the service manager will be calling me tomorrow to discuss the way ahead but it looks like a new top. I haven't had any other issues with the top such as tearing some of you have had. Sitrep tomorrow.
