In the end, the Heat shot themselves in the foot down the stretch, which differed from the Game 2 meltdown when they shot themselves out of the game. On Tuesday, the Heat turned the ball over six times in the final 12 minutes of the game, which led to five Dallas points on the other end. In a game decided by just three points, those fumbles cost them the game.

Thanks ESPN for making every win or loss about the Heat 24/7, and never once mentioning that Dallas showed a resiliency against the Heat that few in the league have. Or mentioning that Shawn Marion was CLUTCH in the 3rd quarter. Or that some of those turnovers are because Dallas going to a zone defense knocked them out of their comfort zone and forced some ugly offensive sets out of an obviously NOT half-court Heat squad. Nope. Just a bunch of 'unforced turnovers' 'uncharacteristic of the team'. And a small article about 'Dirk's fever game'.
As a neutral, I'm two things:
1.) I'm tired of the Heat talk.
2.) This is a great, GREAT series. So 'analysts' should just SHUT UP and enjoy the game. Four games in, and worth every day of waiting / wading through an 82 game season.
Is anybody else as excited about the coaching as I am? Carlisle's adjustments after the half was TREMENDOUS in result.
