Anyways I would think that saving my money to buy the Z later would be counter-productive. I save money but the value of my altima goes down.

Like I said I've made my choice and I'm going to see if I can get a substancial discount by going without the sport package. It depends on what the dealer can find for me.

So the only thing I wouldn't be able to add later is the SRM. I don't think that will bother me to much. This will be my first manual car so I was worried about rough shifting, but it's not like SRM will save my transmission from premature wear? (IDK)
all that is true, however this being being your first manual car i would think SRM would help you in the long run to make the transmission last a little longer as that is at least in some small part what SRM is designed for is to provide smooth shifts between gears, hence making it so there is less wear and tear on the gearbox. As for DJ-of-E dont mind him, he's just cranky that he wasnt able to get the color he really wanted cause he didnt want to wait, lol jk
