Default Riding it hard

On my way to work today, i usually go at it in this little 1.7 mile section which has some twisties on it. It got me thinking, for being a relatively new car i ride it hard, i mean i use it. Now I don't track my cars anymore since my accident in 2001 6 hour endurance race back home, but none the less. So i got to remembering that any car i have ever owned I usually drive the hell out of them. And I KNOW I am not alone in this, probably every member in here does the same to theirs. after all its a sportscar drive it like one.

So here is the thought. Do you think people like us can own very exotic cars? I mean think about it, you buy a for example F430 Scuderia as a daily driver, would you take care of it because its a 250k car, or also drive the hell out of it, to the point that in 3 years everything in the car rattles? Would you do the same if say you manage to obtain a Mclaren F1?

I think I am hard wired to do such a thing, which is really scary to know that if I owned such a car, it would show very soon its being driven hardcore, and probably depreciate rapidly.

anyways just a thought.
