carbon buildup is a known problem for all DI engines (porsche, bmw, audi, vw...), but for some reason it doesn't happen to all of them. obviously it didn't stop nissan form putting DI into G37. i guess the power gain and better fuel economy/emission justify the number of potential engines they have to clean out. hopefully they'll have a fix by the time nissan puts it in Z
