No you're not. Of course I am saying this without looking at the car, but I think claying will work well. Of course, don't just take my word for it, but in my experience, clay has helped me a lot in the past. What I envision is that when you clay, all the crap on your Z will come out and stick to the clay, so you will have to continuously roll and knead the clay to keep it fresh. Once all that crap comes off, you will have a nice clean palette to do your polishing on. Wash again after claying, polish, apply some sealant (for protection), apply wax, for depth. Then if you are like me, park her in the driveway, set up your lawn chair, drink a beer and enjoy how pretty she is again. Good luck!
