It is just a matter of buying the Navteq update DVD when available, placing it in the dash player and following some simple prompts. From what I have read though, the 2009 Z uses the HDD system. The only thing you get from the Navteq, website is a code. You take that code to a Nissan dealer, and using their "C3" computer and a Navteq master disk the Nissan tech does the update of the navigation system. So, with the 2009 Nissan you have no other choice but to go to a dealer for the install..
