yes, Rain-X is great if applied correctly. spray into paper towel and spread onto clean glass to a haze. then take distilled water in a water bottle, mist and wipe off using glass MF towel.
i use rain-x as a cleaner sometimes to rid water spots/stains on my windshield from the sprinklers.
