The lip scrapes the most in the very front on declines. As long as you take an aggressive decline at an angle, you shouldn't have a problem.

I'm not too concerned with a little scraping under the lip, so no skid plates for me- I couldn't really recommend where to put them.

What I do recommend if you're going to go with a replica is to stick with Shine. The fitment is great and the flex will help you quite a bit if you're concerned with bottoming out.
