houston, if wise, would use tracy as the 1st option and ariza as the 2nd option. ariza is a good spot up shooter but he doesn't create shots for himself. he can drive and slash to the rim but most of the time, it's a team effort, unlike kobe, lebron, wade, etc, where they all can just get the ball to the hoop while making ridiculous moves along the way.

ariza's agent IS THE IDIOT. playing hard ball with the lakers? you got to be KIDDING ME!

when you are in LA with the Lakers and not the Clippers, and winning basketball games, you are a star even if you aren't really a star. but going to houston? you are just another player on the team that occasionally brings their A game.

don't get me wrong, trevor was a great player for the lakers, but he should have stayed and played with the lakers. same money with artest and he would have became a star at least in LA.

30+ million with a five year contract will get you a decent life i guess, but on the basketball court, another loser on a post YAO and a future lottery team. good luck man, i wish you the best.
