I can see thats the trend, keeping hopes high but in the end, FRUSTRATION.... I hope Rick can prove me wrong this time and receive my tracking number tomorrow..... & yet importantly the shipping documents sometime today....

That's what my guess is. Like you said, this is the trend with VIP. My invoice doesn't even have an order number on it, it's just blank in the designated area which makes me think my wheels weren't ordered when I was told they were. He wouldn't even have to scan it, he could just look at the paper and type the tracking number to you. I too have not gotten any updates. My last one was he would have an ETA last wednesday on when they would be at his warehouse. Then when he responded to an e-mail of mine on Friday he said they should be in the port this week. Tomorrow is Friday, let's hope we hear something.
