Thanks. Yah if was hard work but you're right, im real glad I did it. Car looks like this right now.

. Even on glass I don't use that thing.
So opened up the hood damper kit and cleaned up the brackets so the edges are perfectly straight, corners are perfectly 90 degrees.
. Will hit it with some primer and spray it matte black.
After taking this pict I noticed the bracket was not sitting perfectly flat so put it in my vice and bent it to shape with my pliers.
