A friend of mine got home last night from spending the last seven months in Argentina. There, one walks everywhere. I was struck by how much weight she'd lost. Before, she was a (to be liberal) chunky girl. Now, she's fit &, in the areas that matter, thin.
We asked her what she'd done & she told us just having walked everywhere was to thank.

Ding, I spent three months in England working for my company, lived in a bed & breakfast place a couple miles from my office and had to walk everyday. Ate the same food, mostly, as I did in the states and actually lost weight. When I got back I started driving again everywhere and regained the weight over the past three years. Been running since last year but have stopped for almost six months and can definitely tell I have a little extra on me.
