Not anymore my friend as of the beginning of this year the new inspection stickers have a chip inside them that has the vehicles info on it. You can go a turb just as long as you have your catalytic converter still and it is tuned right. When the time comes to get it inspected I would take it to the dyno shop and get the turbos turned down to like 5 pounds of boost each and retuned. After that I am pretty sure you will pass.
