Yes schoche makes an adapter if you want to add a aftermarket head unit to the bose system.

Yes re-q qould allow you to add new amps to power new sepakers if you wanted however you will not be able to use the bose system to power new speakers as bose has strange OHMS for their speakers.

Lots of people were concerned about looking down to see a map however with voice directions they really do not look down "this includes AK"
