Installing coilovers was fairly easy. You don't even need a spring compressor. I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I followed the following DIY for a G37, and everything was almost virtually identical for the 370Z:

Do it yourself and save some money, gain better knowledge of your car and get the satisfaction that you did it yourself.
