If you get the factory Nav, you really can't change the bose head unit by itself since they are integrated into one box. So if you want to keep the factory nav and have a separate head unit for audio, that's not going to happen. If you plan to do your own double din in the future, then don't bother getting the stock navigation.
Personally I like the look of the stock screen and the nav itself is fine for what it is. Integration with the bose audio plus other stuff with the car is good too. If you want better sound later on, you can always just change out the stock speakers and add a sub.
