I think it's like any other "good" libation, "if" you have no history or developed taste for it, then you just don't know. The average beer drinker or non-drinker would not know, nor appreciate the difference between a cheap bourbon versus a single barrel aged version............... same holds true for Tequila as well. If you developed a taste for it and started experimenting, you'd appreciate a finer variety more.
