Lol... its excessive exposure to the sun that messes up red over time. If you don't have some sort of carnuba based wax. The red color overabsorbs uv rays and red begins to turn orange. There's a much more in depth explanation that I read someone explain. Anyone can chime in if they are in the mood to give a science lesson?
Of all colors on cars. Red will fade first if you don't aggressively care for it.
