I haven't tried one but I've seen them and from what I've seen they either spin on the street or bog on the track (our track here is pretty sticky). I'd rather do it the old fashioned way.

It's also a new motor with under 2k on it (1940) he was adding fuel on my map yesterday cause it was lean so who knows how it effected the car . I have no idea how it ended up. He said to go easy until wed. I have LTH at my house for months now just finally putting them on. The wheels are easily 6 lbs heavier each wheel which is a drastic difference. Regardless I was expecting a 109+ trap. These wheels are NOT ideal for track tho 20+ lbs rotational weight is a bummer. But even still I pull a 1.9 yesterday I woulda went 12.8 or better.
I need lightweight 18s. If anybody has some Beaten up old wheels please lmk. I'll sand and spray em black and mount some radials.

did you do a little burnout to clean off the tires?

IDK. They're always here at our track but they're almost never stock.
