Anyway, I agree that the Nismo should have an obvious difference between the two models. The next Camaro for example, has a v8 that produces 400hp, as well as the "big boy" 422hp engine. That's something I would be willing to pay an extra couple thousand for, not some body panels and shocks.

Frost, let me go out of my way to point out I am not a pro driver, but to me, the Nismo felt quicker in response to steering wheel inputs and tighter over bumpy roads than the stock Z. Never did get a drive in a Grand Touring model, so the basis of my comparo is between Base and Nismo. Could be a whole lot different between an up-specced Z vs the Nismo for all I know. I came to the conclusion it was tough to justify the price premium, though the exterior pieces on the Nismo definitely made it stand out in a crowd.
