If you type in all caps, the forum will automatically lowercase all your letters.
If, however, you have even one lowercase letter in the main post, the forum leaves it alone, and the lowercase letters in the emoticons count.
So, if you type "OMG BLAH", it will post as "omg blah", but if you post "YAY : excited :" it will show up as "YAY
