My set should have lasted longer. I replaced all 4 after less than 2 years due to a couple of reasons:
  • One of the front tire suffered a minor puncture of the sidewall from slightly bumping into a curb. It scuffed the wheel a tiny bit, but who knows when the sidewall is going to give out. Other than that, the front tires should have at least 1-1.5 years of tread life remaining. What a waste.
  • The rear tires had decent tread life remaining, but the inner 1" was getting completely bald. This is a daily driver that doesn't see WOT as often. As some owners have commented, the rear camber probably isn't that great from the factory.
For my new set, I'm going to take advantage of the 305 tires by giving it more positive camber. The camber kit arrived, but not installed. After dropping the car the contact patch covers roughly half of the tire. Hopefully I can shoot for something close to 90% contact patch (i.e., retain some negative camber).
