The main 'feel' issue with the stock sport brakes is the pads. If you just don't have confidence in the brakes, get more aggressive pads. I've found that the stock pads have horrible bite and feel, but if you smoosh them, they'll still stop you. But once you drive with track pads, you'll see what the Z's brakes are capable of.

Swapping fluid and lines won't do too much if you haven't changed the pads. The fluid just helps withstand the heat issues for longer driving sessions.
