Media raves about said model.

Bunch of nubs buy the car.

Bunch of nubs complain about car.

Media reports on complaints.

Time passes and things die down. Nubs either learn or leave.

Car gets cheap in the used markets, punk kids enter the market and ruin everything.

Rinse and repeat.
