I never said it didn't have any potential. But you seem to think they are going to be right up at the front at the next race, which is extremely optimistic. I'm just trying to be more realistic. I don't expect them to be running up front and contending for the win in their second race out... that's just not typical for a new team/car in any competitive series, and the Continental Tire series is fairly competitive!

Point out once where I dismissed the car. I never did. I'm just being realistic here. This is a brand new operation for Christ's sake. It's going to take some time.

And as you should very well know, in professional racing the car is only half the battle. You've got to have the team. And a lot of luck! Hell, only about 75% of the time does the fastest car win a Sprint Cup race... if the racing gods are on your side you don't necessarily have to be the best that day to end up in victory lane.
